Udupi, Jan 30: Dr T M A Pai Hospital is set to enhance its medical services by introducing plastic surgery services. These services, led by Dr Sreekumar N C and his expert team, will commence from February 1, offering outpatient consultations every Thursday from 2 pm to 5 pm.
The plastic surgery department will cater to a variety of patient needs through a broad spectrum of services, (1) Reconstructive procedures like including scar revision, diabetic foot care, minor excisions, minor burns, surgical tattoo removal, and body piercing, (2) Non-Surgical procedures like Botox injections, dermal fillers, laser therapy for scars, keloid treatments, and laser tattoo removal, (3) AV fistula creation, and (4) Consultations regarding paediatric plastic surgery (cleft lip and palate repair, burn and skin cancer reconstruction), hand reconstruction (carpal tunnel release, Dupuytren's contracture release), and breast reconstruction (augmentation, reduction, lifts, and post-mastectomy reconstruction), cosmetic and aesthetic procedures such as rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, brow lifts, ear and lip augmentation, and chin augmentation, body contouring procedures like liposuction, tummy tucks, body lifts, arm lifts, and thigh lifts, and paediatric plastic surgery and microsurgery including craniofacial and paediatric hand surgery, along with advanced microsurgery for nerve and tissue repair.
