Mangaluru, Jan 26: Police commissioner Anupam Agrawal issued guidelines to candidates with regard to dress code and also prohibitory orders in wake of the written examination that will be held on Sunday, January 28 to fill vacancies in Armed Reserve Police (CAR/DAR) for Men and Transgender men.
The recruitment process is being held to fill 3064 vacancies. The examination will be held in eight examination centres located at Alva’s educational institute Moodbidri from 11 am to 12.30 pm. Around 17000 candidates are expected to write the examination.
The examination will be held at Alva’s educational institute Moodbidri. Section 144 is imposed for 200 meters of area from the examination centre.
In addition to prohibitory orders following activities in the restricted area are totally prohibited:
*Assembly or movement of groups of five or more persons unconnected with the examination except the candidates appearing for the examination
*Carrying any materials containing answers or rendering any sort of help by any means to facilitate copying
*Carrying of any acid/explosives or being in possession of any deadly weapons
*Using any form of sign language to convey any message connected with examination or indulging oneself in any other manner connected with the examination
*Working of any xerox centres within 200 meters of the examination centre one hour prior to the examination and during the examination
*Usage of any mobiles, blue tooth, pagers or any other electronic gadgets of communication
*Any sort of unauthorized parking of any kind of vehicles within 200 meters of Alvas Educational institute, Moodbidri
General instructions to candidates:
*Candidates have to be present in the examination centre at least 120 minutes before the commencement of the examination i.e by 9 am
*Candidates should not carry any Electronic equipment, Gadgets, Pagers, Mobile phones, Bluetooth, bits of paper, books/notes etc into the examination hall
*Candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall only on production of their Admission Ticket and any one valid Identity Card like Driving License/Passport/Aadhar Card/Voter ID (EPIC)
Candidates appearing for the examination shall strictly adhere to the below mentioned dress code:
*The candidates (Men and Transgender Men) shall compulsorily wear half sleeve shirts as far as possible without collar
*Candidates are not allowed to wear shirts with zip pockets and large oversized buttons
*Candidates are forbidden from wearing jeans and pants with multiple pockets
*Shoes are not allowed inside the examination hall. Candidates are advised to wear thin soled chappals
*No metal ornaments around the neck or any finger rings and bracelets shall be worn inside the examination hall. Candidates are advised to leave such valuables at home since no arrangement for safe keeping of such valuables is made at the examination centre.
