DVS Smells Conspiracy by Cong Behind 'Reddy’s Arrest'

Bangalore, Sep 9: Karnataka Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda accused the Congress party of hatching a conspiracy in the arrest of former minister G Janardhana Reddy and declared that the BJP will evolve a strategy to counter the conspiracy.

The Chief Minister, who was accompanied by State Rural Development Minister Jagadish Shettar and State BJP President K S Eshwarappa, spoke to reporters at the Jindal airport in Bellary on the way to Koppal to be present during the filing of the nomination papers by the ruling party candidate Karadi Sanganna in the ensuing by-election on September 26.

Gowda said he would discuss the issue with the Central BJP leaders on the strategy to be adopted in meeting the situation arising out of the arrest of the Bellary mining lord, who is presently under judicial custody in the Chanchalgud Central Jail in Hyderabad.

The Chief Minister held discussions with the Bellary district Deputy Commissioner Adidya Amlan Biswas and Superintedent of Police Chandrakant Gupta on the law and order situation in the district, including the acts of hooliganism and stray incidents of violence during the recent Bellary bandh called by the supporters of Reddy.

Please do not waste your further time in evolving strategy to counter the conspiracy....If you are still supporting a criminal who has looted an huge amount of natural resources, its obvious public will know on whose welfare you are interested..!.Every kannadiga is expecting some development jobs from their beloved South Kanara C.M...Please accede to their requests and justify your role,as promised by you.

    I was under the impression that atleast Mr. Gowda will have some sence in talking about Reddy brothers. But he also continuing his predessor's voice. There is nothing new. Only abusing the opposition leaders instead of taking any concrete steps to put the culprits to the jail. This is shame ont the part of our CM. I dont know why he is not interest to hand over the matter to the CBI to whom atleast we can believe.
    We have lost any hopes on the present politcians who are very selfish and supporting the culprits. I request Mr. Santhosh Shetty, the ex. lakayuktha of Karnataka to take steps to formulate any action with the help of others against the reddies. Otherwise definitely they will be freed and go back to pevilian.

    Now State BJP and also central BJP leaders are in constant fear that, if Reddy tells the names of BJP leaders to whom they paid crores of money to carry out illegal mining then their govt will be in trouble. Mr Gowda, we are not foolish people to believe dirty politician's statements like this. Afterall you are also a chela of yeddy who is counting days to go to jail. We can call year 2011 as "JAIL BHARO POLITICIANS" year. Many more are waiting for their turn.
