Udupi, Sep 6: The conferring ceremony of district teachers’ achiever’s Award was held under the aegis of city-based G Shankar Family Trust here on Monday September 5.

State minister Dr V S Acharya inaugurated the ceremony on Monday afternoon.
 
MLA Raghupati Bhat, G Shankar Family Trust chairman Dr G Shankar, ZP president Katpady Shankar Poojary, DC Dr Reju, TP president Devdas Hebbar, town councillor Kiran Kumar, and ZP vice-president Jyoti Shetty were present on the dais.
