Beltangady, Dec 2: The Annual Day celebration of Anugraha Educational Institutions was held on December 2 at Anugraha auditorium. The programme began with the school band welcoming and escorting the dignitaries to the auditorium.

The correspondent Fr James D’Souza welcomed the gathering. The annual report was the highlight of the event where in all the events, achievements and activities of the academic year was mentioned. The annual report was presented by Fr Vijay Lobo.

The divisional level football players Hezel Jisha Pinto, Renisha Quadras, state level player Shravanya Kashvi Kotyan, Anushka and the national level player Rosa Joy and Deepika V B were felicitated by Mohan Kumar, proprietor of Laxmi Industries, Ujire.

Dr Saurabh Rai, alumnus of the institution was felicitated during the programme. Fr Vijay Lobo, the principal was felicitated for receiving the ‘The Best Principal Award’ bestowed by the DKPUC principal’s association.

Fr Praveen Leo Lasrado, who presided over the event said, “Students should know the importance of values and try to bring out the hidden talents.”

Dr Saurabh, the correspondent Fr James D'Souza, the principal Fr Vijay Lobo, Anthony Fernandes, vice president of Parish Pastoral Council, Dr Prashant, vice president of parent’s association, Mohan Kumar proprietor of Laxmi Industries, student leaders Ashmitha, Smayan Jain and Samson D'Souza were present on stage.

Harish Poonja, MLA visited during programme and gave his wishes.

Vinayalatha, Kumari Kashmi compered the programme. The formal programme ended with vote of thanks by Ravi Kumar. The students presented variety of cultural programme.
