Mangaluru: Drug peddler arrested, MDMA narcotic seized

Mangaluru, Nov 13: They city crime branch (CCB) police arrested a man accused of selling narcotics to public and students in the city.

The arrested accused is identified as Hasainar alias Acchu (32), a resident of Bajal Padpu House and a native of Harekala.

Acting on a definite tip off that the accused is selling narcotics to public and students at Padil in the city, the CCB police raided and caught him red-handed. The cops recovered MDMA narcotic weighing 12 gram valued at Rs 60000, one mobile phone and a digital weighing machine. The total value of the confiscated goods is Rs 70000.

A case was registered in Kankanady police station in this connection. Three cases are registered against Hasainar earlier in Kankanady city police station for attempted murder and assault. Many are involved in the sale of narcotics and police is on the search for them. CCB unit officer and personnel carried out the raid under the guidance of city police commissioner Anupam Agarwal.

    these peddlers enjoyed life for last five years of chaddi rule...ab nahin hoga...be careful..stay away from bad deeds...our just and honest Sidda mummadi is ruling....not the peteel kind of worthless leaders.

    Although I appreciate Police for nabbing these criminals and drug peddlers who are destroying the life of youth. But catching these small fishes nothing is going to be happen. There are several peddlers are there. And few more will join to drug peddling. Catch the kingpins and their political links.
