Mangaluru, Nov 10: Nalin Kumar Kateel, the outgoing state BJP president has congratulated his newly appointed successor B Y Vijayendra here.
In his statement, Nalin Kumar Kateel expressed his best wishes to Vijayendra, noting the emergence of fresh energy within the party's cadre. He alleged shortcomings in the Congress party's governance, emphasizing the "lack of progress in the past six months."
Kateel also claimed that there was rampant corruption in the current Congress governance and expressed confidence in Vijayendra's ability to rejuvenate the party and bring it back to power. He spoke of the need for collective efforts and reorganization within the party, promising a return to leadership.
He said that he had successfully led the party as the state president over the last four years, seemed unperturbed by questions about retirement from politics. He smiled in response, leaving the question unanswered.
