Mangaluru, Nov 9: The MRPL organized ‘HiQ Retail Outlet Dealer Meet’ as a part of vigilance awareness week at MRPL Employees Recreational Centre on November 3. All the 75 dealers on its roll from various parts of the states of Karnataka and Kerala attended the programme.
Deepak Prabhakar GGM, marketing welcomed the dignitaries and the dealers for the meeting and highlighted the importance of doing ethical business in this highly competitive environment.
GM retail, A Sivaram Krishnan presented a brief overview of MRPL's retail network and showcased various initiatives taken by MRPL for ‘Ease of doing business’ in retail marketing. He also applauded various good initiatives undertaken by MRPL’s HiQ dealers.
BHV Prasad, ED Projects, emphasized the need to strengthen the MRPL retail network. He also elaborated on MRPL’s retail expansion plan for selling one million KL of petroleum products by the year 2027 with the opening of more than 1000 retail outlets in its existing territories as well as in the states of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Maharashtra.
Ganesh S Bhat, IFS, chief vigilance officer appraised the dealers of vigilant practices being undertaken at MRPL and also focused on the importance of giving quality assurance to customers.
Vivek Chandrakant Tongaonkar, director, finance emphasized the importance of establishing a quality retail network and also stressed the need for MRPL network expansion.
Sanjay Varma, managing director MRPL addressed the gathering and said that dealers are the face of the company and have an important role to play. He conveyed to the dealers that they need to be conscious of the fact that they are dealing with the quality products supplied directly from the single largest PSU refinery in India.
Dealers were awarded for their performance during the programme which was followed by a question-and-answer session, where A Sivaram Krishnan, general manager of retail, replied to various queries raised by the dealer fraternity.
