Mangaluru, Nov 6: A unit of the Secular Franciscan Congregation organisation was established in St Teresa Church, Paldane.
It was officially inaugurated with the oath taken by 13 members during the Holy Mass at the church on Sunday. The Holy Mass was led by the parish priest of the church, Fr Alban D’Souza, who officiated and explained the significance of the day. Association director Fr Prakash Lobo explained the mission of the organization, the conduct of members, social service and constant prayer.
Another priest, Fr Daryl Fernandes, also participated in the Holy Mass. Schubert, president of the association, welcomed.
