Dubai: Mangalore Konkans hold successful job seekers workshop

Dubai, Oct 24: Mangalore Konkans, the united forum of Mangalureans working and residing in UAE, in association with HR Orb, a boutique HR solutions firm, organized a half-day workshop for Mangalurean job seekers, on Sunday October 22. The workshop was organized with a view to help, encourage and guide the job seekers so that they are able to avail the job opportunities available in the UAE.

Preethi Seema D'Souza, CEO and co-founder of HR Orb, and Batul Tambawala, learning and development director at HR Orb, were the speakers on occasion. The event was interactive and informative, with activities and audio-visual presentations.

The session was mainly focused on how to prepare a resume, application, and cover letter and elevate self-introduction. The workshop also instructed attendees to be mindful of the circulation of resumes and documents on social media. The sessions were reciprocal and filled with activities in order to boost the mindset and confidence of the job seekers to face the interviews.

Participants appreciated the efforts of Mangalore Konkans to come up with such sessions to motivate and guide job seekers. Meanwhile, Mangalore Konkans thanked the attendees for making this workshop successful.
