Kundapur, Oct 27: In a heartbreaking incident that unfolded in Tallur, Kundapur taluk, a seventh-grade boy, who had celebrated his birthday just the previous day, succumbed to a heart attack today.
The young boy, identified as Pruthwiraj Shetty, was the son of Arun Kumar Shetty, who serves as an Akshara Dasoha officer in Kundapur. Pruthwiraj Shetty was a seventh-grade student at Hattiangadi Siddivinayaka School.
Pruthwiraj, who had celebrated his birthday with joy on the previous day, was waiting for his school bus, accompanied by his mother as was the routine. However, he suddenly experienced severe chest pain and immediately informed his mother. He was promptly rushed to Manipal Hospital, but regrettably, he passed away before reaching the hospital.
This unfortunate tragedy adds to the Shetty family's heartache, as Pruthwiraj's elder sister, an eighth-grader, had suffered a similar fate, succumbing to a heart attack in school on October 27 last year. The family of Arun Kumar Shetty is devastated by the loss of their only son this year, compounding their grief.
