Bahrain: DKMWA Hosts Iftaar Party

Bahrain, Aug 21: Dakshina Kannada Muslim Welfare Association Bahrain (DKMWA) hosted Iftaar party for members and families here at Anarath community hall, Manama on Friday August 19.



DKMWA was established in 1992 by a group of young Muslims from Dakshina Kannada District with an objective to help the families of Muslim community in the district. 

So far they have helped many families and provided help in marrieges of needy.The association gives  interest free loan to poor members in Bahrain and helps children for their education in Bahrain. President of DKMWA, A Razaq Sulaiman welcomed the gathering and wished Ramadan Kareem to all.

    Thank you for your comment.

    First of all I want to bring to your knowledge that our association has been doing charity work since 20 years by looking after poor families, lending help for marriages and especially, for education. We have our representatives in South Canara to note needy families. Our experience and my age is enough to find out who is in need of charity. Please note the following:

    1) Money spent once a year for Ifthar will not reduce our fund (Inshallah)
    2) Also, money spent on this Ifthar is not being spent from the association fundit is contributed by our generous members, committee members and the executive committee.

    My advice to you is that try and reduce poverty, finance education for poor people in our community. If you can do it, go ahead. Otherwise, my special request to you in the holy month of Ramadan is that let others work in their own style. At the end of the day, we work in such associations so as to enable needy people to benefit from these associations.

    Well organised, Masha Allah, pls have a look on ur areas poor families, not even having enough food for single time.We r all should shoulder these problems, from your area pls do something.
