Mangaluru, Oct 3: In commemoration of Rastriya Poshan Abhiyaan 2023, Yenepoya Naturopathy & Yogic Science College & Hospital celebrated the event on September 30 at the seminar hall.

The program commenced with an inauguration ceremony featuring Dr Madhavi Bhargav, deputy head of the Centre for Nutrition Studies at Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), who delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of Nutrition Assessment and daily dietary habits.

Dr Puneeth Ragahvendra K R, principal of Yenepoya Naturopathy & Yogic Science College, spoke about nutrition and healthy Living with a focus on maintaining a proper lifestyle.

Ajith K, assistant professor in the department of Nutrition and Dietetics, presented a detailed report on the outreach activities, competitions, and webinar sessions organized as part of the event. Prizes were awarded to the winners of these competitions.

Dr Sunitha D'Souza, assistant professor in the department of nutrition and dietetics, delivered the welcome address, and Amina expressed her gratitude in the vote of thanks. Shaizana Sheik served as the program's host.
