Mumbai, Aug 16: “Since the branch of Odiyoor Mutt opened in the metro, it has been encouraging litterateurs and writers, especially journalists. ‘Deepada Buda Kattalu’, the Kannada book authored by young writer Dinesh Shetty Renjala has great significance to society,” said Swami Gurudevanand of Odiyoor Mutt.
He was speaking at the book release ceremony and religious discourse held at Vikas College auditorium, Kannammar Nagar, Vikhroli (East) under the aegis of Vikhroli Bunts here, recently.
Swami Gurudevanand further said that Vikhroli Bunts, led by its president Ganesh M Shetty, has a great future. “Bunts are embodied with leadership qualities and have the virtue of coming to the rescue of one who has faced failure in business or in life,” he added.
Veteran litterateur Dr Sunita M Shetty said that the book gives ideas on shaping the future and finding light in bleakest of moments in life.
The metro-based Bunts Association women’s wing president Asha M Hedge was the chief guest on the occasion.
Marne Education and Charitable Trust chairman Yennehole Sudhakar Shetty Vikhroli, Vikhroli Bunts advisors R C Shetty and Shyam Sundar Shetty, Pallavi Sanjay Reena Patil, Gurudeva Seva Balaga Maharashtra unit vice-president Bolnaduguttu Chandrahas Rai, Vajramata Mahila Vikas Kendra president Revati V Shetty were present on the occasion.
