Mangalore, Aug 13: He is no doubt the No 1 fan of the actress Sridevi. Fim maker Sundeep Malani has been following her since his childhood and has a collection of all her films from all the south Indian languages to her complete Hindi films. A entire library of her audio, video and dvds with him, also rare collection of her entire filmography and photographs in store, Sundeep Malani can truly be called as an encyclopedia of Sridevi. You ask him anything about the actress and he says it without thinking or blinking, in just a word – Go!
Continuing his fondness for the actress, he has gone ahead to pay tribute to her by making a film titled 'Jaanleva 555'. The film starring Kalpana Pandit and a whole lot of newcomers is complete and is set for release by the end of the year. And to declare the news about the tribute, he has chosen a special day.
Says Sundeep: “Its August 13, her birthday and this is the best way I could pay a tribute to the actress who I have admired since my childhood days. Recently, Kareena Kapoor paid a tribute to her by performing a few of her numbers on stage for an awards ceremony. My entire 2 hours plus film will be a total dedication to the actress in every way possible.” When asked him about what is the film all about, he says confidently, “Wait and see. Can’t reveal anything now and I am sure, Sridevi will be happy and proud of her fan. And I am letting ever So will be other fans of her all over”.

The film written and directed by Sundeep Malani is produced by Kalpana Pandit for her home production House of Pandit. It stars newcomers Abrar Zahoor, Cliff Janke, Anant Joshi, Ranjeet Jha, Mann Hora, Akash Hora, Shona Chabra, Vaseem, Babli Dutta, Kiran Thotambailu and Willy Manchanda. With 12 tracks by a bunch of newcomers including Dev Chauhan, Ameya Naik, Nishant-Rahul, Yug Bhusal and two International Tracks by Bradley Janke and Mike Paul Hughes.
Songs are rendered by reality show singers Raja Hassan, Aditi Paul, Ajay Shukla and others, it has been choreographed by Longinus Fernandes (of Slumdog Millionaire). Edited by Sagar Bhatia and Graphics with online editing by Santosh Chawla, it has styling by Harshad Kathariya and make up by Ganesh Palav. This film with 2 set ups of camera is shot entirely in Canon 5 D Digital Format with cinematography by Selvam and Kamal Lokhandwala. Marianne Mortenson Colin of Los Angeles based Glue LLC, has acquired the representation rights for Jaanleva 555 in Hollywood.
