Mangalore: Valencia Parish Celebrates Friendship Day

Mangalore, Aug 9:
St Vincent Ferrer Church, Valencia, organized a youth programme on Sunday August 7, on the occasion of Friendship Day.
 
Fr Leo Lasrado offered Holy Mass for the youth.  The youth of the parish actively participated in the Holy Mass where they conducted the liturgy and choir.

‘Yuva Adalat’, an interaction with resource persons of different fields among the students, was held after the Holy Mass at the parish hall.
 
Three eminent speakers shared their views on different topics. Roshan Castelino spoke on the topic of youth and friendship. Eugene D’Cunha spoke on the topic ‘Youth and Society’, while Sr Mariola stressed the responsibility of the youth in parish activities. Group discussions were held also on the occasion.
 
Fr Bonaventure and Fr Roshan were present on the occasion. Fr Leo compeered the programme while Floric Lobo conducted games. The celebration concluded with a sumptuous dinner.
