Udupi: Independence Day celebrated at St Cecily’s PU College

Udupi, Aug 17: The 77th Independence Day celebration was held at St Cecily's PU College to commemorate the significance of the momentous day.

The students expressed their nationalistic sentiments through their song and dance performances as well as a thought provoking speech. The patriotic group singing competition was also conducted as part of the celebrations.

A meaningful discourse on the significance of independence by Sr Rachana the principal, enlightened the students about the essence of freedom.

The programme concluded with the singing of the national anthem.
