Udupi: Motorcyclist Dies in Head-on Collision with Private Bus

Udupi, Aug 2: A motorcyclist died in a road mishap on NH 66 at Kotalkatte, near Kaup, on Tuesday August 2.

The deceased is 37-year-old Dinesh Poojary, son of Krishnappa and Sharada Poojary couple, residents of Irvattoor in Karkala taluk.

Dinesh died on the spot when his motorcycle collided head-on with a private express bus.

He was a progressive farmer and owned Akshaya Nursery at Irvattoor. He is survived by his wife who is pregnant with their second child, and a three-year-old son.

Kaup police registered a case in this regard and have arrested the bus driver.
