Mangaluru: 'EXORDIUM 2K23' held at St Agnes PU College

Mangaluru, Aug 2: St Agnes PU College conducted 'EXORDIUM 2K23' on July 31 in the college auditorium. This programme was introduced to welcome the freshers’ of the college and to encourage and enhance their creativity and skills, and the most important part, i.e; to have fun until cheeks hurt from smiling.

‘Exordium’, popularly known as Fresher's Day, included numerous events such as POV (Video Editing), Persona (Character design), Writer's Box, Bloom (Flower arrangement), Chef De Agnes (Cooking without fire), Fragnestine (an inventor's investment), Actomania (Acting Competition), Beauty on the beat (Dance), Miss Fresher, Agnes_The Voice (Singing), Roadies, and Conspiracy theory (public speaking).

The programme started with an inaugural ceremony hosted by the college cabinet, followed by the competitions and cleared with the valedictory ceremony held by the student council. Sr Norine D'Souza, the principal felicitated the winners of various competitions and commended students for their enthusiasm and zest. She also urged the students to build fine character that will assist them reach pinnacle of success.

Vice principal Sr Jannet Sequeira, Jyothi Pinto, department of humanities co-ordinated the programme.The staff, college cabinet and first PU students were part for this special occasion. The event evoked an enthusiastic response from the freshers throughout the programme.
