Mangaluru: Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing observes 'World Lung Cancer Day'

Mangaluru, Aug 2: The department of medical surgical nursing, Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing observed 'World Lung Cancer Day' on August 1 at AJIMS, OPD Area, Kuntikana.

Dr Larissa Martha Sams, principal, Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing addressed the gathering and gave a talk about the importance of lungs.

Dr P P Devan, department of ENT, AJIMS & RC addressed the family members of the patients and gave a health talk about healthy living to prevent lung cancer. Dr Punith R enlightened gathering with lung cancer awareness and prevention.

Students of third year BSc nursing added vigor to the programme by their health play and informative charts on different aspects of caring of lungs. The programme was compered by Dhanya, third year BSc nursing student.
