Mangaluru: St Ann's PU College celebrates its patron’s feast

Mangaluru, Jul 28: St Ann's PU College celebrated its patron St Anne's feast on July 27 in the college auditorium.

Sr Reema D'Mello was the chief guest.

The programme began with a prayer service followed by a welcome dance. Sr Marilda AC, the principal introduced and welcomed the chief guest.

The significance of the celebration was given through a video presentation.

As St Anne's feast is also celebrated as Grandparents’ Day, a mime on 'Love your Parents' was presented followed by a dance drama on the same theme.

A few spot games and entertainment dances livened up the celebration. The chief guest in her address urged the student to emulate the virtues of St Anne.

The programme was compered by Tanvi and Wafa. Vote of thanks was proposed by Gauthami. Sweets were distributed to the students on the occasion.
