Mangaluru: SJEC AICTE IDEA Lab successfully organizes 'Life skills workshop series-2023'

Mangaluru, Jul 26: SJEC successfully organizes itsfirst workshop of the 'Life skills workshop series–2023' titled 'Basic Auto Mechanic Skill' on July 21 at SJEC AICTE IDEA Lab. 

Programme started with a brief inauguration in the presence of Fr Kenneth Rayner Crasta, assistant director, SJEC and Dr Purushothama Chippar, vice-principal and dean R&D.

Purushothama K, proprietor, Durga Padma Auto works, kudupu and his staff provided demonstrations and training for students on a variety of vehicle maintenance issues, including tyre puncture and repair, tyre replacement, oil balance checking and re-filling, wiper replacement and battery checking. 30 students in total took part in the workshop.Registered students were given the opportunity to participate in a hands-on session for these activities with the assistance of experts in the field.

At the end of the session, participants shared their experience and valuable feedback regarding the workshop and appreciated the efforts put by the institution in coming up with these useful life skills initiative for the students at SJEC. The domain experts were felicitated with mementos as token of gratitude for sharing their knowledge to the students. The workshop witnessed the active participation of few teaching staffs and technical staffs of SJEC AICTE IDEA lab.
