Udupi, Jul 21: In a grand endeavor to foster innovation and collaboration in the realm of health sciences research, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) in association with Kasturba Medical College organized a thought-provoking One-Day Conclave titled 'Horizontal Integration of MAHE Health Sciences Research Verticals'. The event took place on Friday, July 21, 2023, at the MAHE campus in Manipal.

The inaugural ceremony, graced by eminent personalities, Dr Sharath Kumar Rao, Pro-Vice Chancellor - Health Sciences, MAHE, Manipal, and Dr. N N Sharma, Pro-Vice Chancellor - Strategy & Planning, MAHE, Manipal, set the stage for a day filled with insightful discussions, ideation, and the conceptualization of groundbreaking research initiatives.

The highlight of the inaugural address was the unveiling of "Vision 2025: MAHE Health Sciences Research" by Dr. Sharath Kumar Rao, outlining the institution's ambitious roadmap for the future in health sciences research. Subsequently, Dr N N Sharma presented the strategic plan to promote health sciences research at MAHE, highlighting the institute's commitment to advancing scientific knowledge for the betterment of society.

Throughout the day, various distinguished experts and researchers shared their knowledge and expertise on the Conclave's central theme - "Interdisciplinary Integration of Health Sciences Research Verticals." Prominent research verticals at MAHE presented their visions and prospects, aligning with MAHE's Vision 2025, signifying the institution's commitment to pushing the boundaries of healthcare research and innovation.

The day concluded with Dr Sharath Rao and Dr N N Sharma outlining the strategic initiatives to realize the Vision 2025 of MAHE Health Sciences Research.
