Puttur: Day-long workshop on ‘Android Development’ held at St Philomena College

Puttur, Jul 19: The department of MSc computer science organized a day-long workshop on 'Android Development' on July 18 in the PG seminar hall.

Computer Science is the application science of many fundamental sciences. Technology is growing rapidly all over the world where students must update themselves and move faster with innovative ideas, said Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, principal, St Philomena College Puttur after inaugurating a day-long workshop on ‘Android Development’.

Harish, assistant professor, department of computer science and engineering, Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management, Mangaluru participated as resource person and extended insights with regard to cyber crimes which are taking place across the world. He stressed upon how youngsters should be careful about such crimes and should not fall a prey to cyber crimes and for that one should be updated about cyber facility.

Govinda Prakash C H, coordinator, PG Department of Computer Science, and the faculty members Akshatha B, Ramya S and Suraksha S were present during the session.

The prayer was rendered by Aparna U S and team. Fathima Shuhaira T S compered. Fatimath Saanida welcomed. Jyothi K proposed a vote of thanks.
