Kundapur: NAAC peer team visits Bhandarkars' College

Kundapur, Jul 18: The NAAC Peer Team visited Bhandarkars' College on July 14 and 15.

Dr.Ashok Bhoite, former vice-chancellor of Shivaji University, Kollapura was the chairman of the team. Peer team included Prof Shahid Rasool, professor, Central University, Kashmir,as the team co-ordinator and Dr Badal Kumar Sen, retired principal of Commerce College Tinsukiya, Dibrughad Assam as the team member.

The team members were welcomed to the institution where they were presented institutional highlights and various aspects pertaining to NAAC evaluation criteria by different departments.

The members visited all the departments, facilities, campus infrastructure, associations, and were also presented with a unique cultural programme presentation.

On July 15 an exit meeting was conducted by the members in the college. The peer team members elaborated upon the positive and negative aspects of the institution based on their observations. Suggestions for improvement were proposed.

Dr N P Narayana Shetty principal of Bhandarkars' College, Prof Shashikant Hathwar, NAAC co ordinator of the college and Dr Vijayakumar K M, IQAC co-ordinator of the college were present at the programme.
