Mangaluru: The Yenepoya Institute conducts ‘Deesharamba -2023’ programme

Mangaluru, Jul 17: Student Induction and orientation programme - Deeksharambh 2023' organised by The Yenepoya Institute of Arts Science Commerce and Management was inaugurated on Monday, July 17, at Yendurance zone, Deralaktte.

The programme was organised for the newly joined first year students of BBA, BCom, BSc, BA and BCom programmes.

This unique programme focuses on assisting new students in setting in and becoming comfortable in their surroundings, educating them about the University’s ethos and culture, fostering relationships between them and others and exposing them to a sense of greater purpose and self-exploration.

The chief guest was Mullai Mulihan M P, deputy commissioner and district magistrate, Dakshina Kannada district. Dr Yenepoya Abdulla Kunhi, chancellor, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Dr M Vijayakumar, vice-chancellor, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Dr B H Sripathi Rao, pro vice-chancellor, Dr Gangadhara Somayaji, registrar, Dr B T Nandish, controller of examination, Dr Arun A Bhagwath, principal and dean faculty of science, Dr Shareena P, vice-principal and dean, faculty of commerce and management, Dr Jeevan Raj, vice-principal and Narayan Sukumar, vice-principal presided over the programme.
