Udupi: St Cecily’s English Medium Higher Primary School celebrates feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel

Udupi, Jul 17: St Cecily’s English Medium Higher Primary School, Udupi,  celebrated the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel on July 15 with a festive fervour. Students of class 7B and Carmel Blossoms hosted a meaningful programme in honor of Mother of Carmel.

The programme commenced with a devotional  prayer beseeching blessings of God and intercession of Mother Mary on all.

The students enacted a beautiful skit  portraying Mother Mary as a ray of hope for the needy and her providential care for people in despair. The budding minds were also encouraged to imbibe the virtues of Mother Mary through a narrative act.
 















































Sr Lathika, the principal delivered her message through a story which highlighted the unique and bountiful love of Mother of Carmel.  

In honour of the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, a solemn Eucharistic celebration was held on Friday, July 14 at St Cecily’s Convent Chapel. Fr Alwyn Sequeira OCD was the celebrant. He spoke about the virtues of Mother Mary. The enchanting choir enriched the praises of Mother Mary.

Ayush compered  the programme. Aarman proposed the vote of thanks.
