Mangalore: Drunken Driving - Car Rams into Bike, One Injured

Mangalore, Jul 29: Allen, an employee of Mphasis, a BPO company in Jeppu here, was injured in an accident when his bike was rammed by an Indica car on Thursday July 28 at around 10 pm. The accident happened in front of Garodi temple near Nagori here.

The driver of the Indica was reportedly drunk and was driving the car rashly.

The injured was admitted to a private hospital in the city, where he underwent a surgery on his thigh bones.
 
The car after colliding with the bike also hit and damaged a Maruti Esteem belonging to Brijesh, a resident of Garodi. 

A case has been registered in Kankanady rural police station.

    NOW-A-DAYS IT IS ROUTINE RAMING DUE
    TO DRUNKEN DRIVING OR TALKING OVER CELLPHONE WHILE DRIVING BUT NOT LEARNT LESSONS ONLY BECAUSE OF POLICE ARE JOINING HANDS WITH SUCH CULPRITS AND LACK OF POLICE OBSERVATIONS IN CIVIL DRESS AT CERTAIN POINTS LIKE BYE-PASS, ONEWAY INTERSECTIONS.

    Any one causing accident by drink driving should be sent to prison and have their license canceled.
