Mangaluru: Srinivas University Institute of Aviation Studies holds orientation programme

Mangaluru, Jul 15: The Srinivas University Institute of Aviation Studies held an orientation programme for the 2023-24 batch of students held at Hotel Srinivas on July 14.

The programme was inaugurated by the honourable chancellor of Srinivas University, Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, who emphasized the importance of starting the day with a smile and building a strong foundation for a successful life. He encouraged students to rely on common sense for personal growth.

The chief guest for the programme was the honourable pro-chancellor of Srinivas University, Dr A Srinivas Rao. He highlighted that aviation is a field that requires a strong personality and praised the active participation and achievements of Srinivas University students in competitions. He warmly welcomed the new batch of students.

A Vijayalakshmi R Rao, a trustee member of the Srinivas University board of governors, wished the students a fruitful student life. Prof Mitra S Rao, trustee memberof the Srinivas University board of governors, advised parents to stay involved in their children's studies and activities. He emphasized the importance of discipline and developing a well-rounded personality, including effective communication skills.

The registrar of Srinivas University, Dr Anil Kumar, was present at the event. The head of the Institute of Aviation Studies, Prof Kavyashree, provided the students with an overview of the course. The dean of the Institute of Aviation Studies, Dr Pavitra Kumari, welcomed all, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Prof Anjana T V. The programme was hosted by Prof Deekshitha.
