Mangaluru, Jul 13: St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC) hosted the second council meeting of CII (Confederation of Indian Industry), Mangaluru on July 5 at SJEC, Vamanjoor.
The second council meeting of CII Mangaluru aimed to enhance engagement and interaction among CII council members by organizing meetings at various member company premises. This initiative aimed to foster a stronger sense of involvement and active participation in the council's activities, ultimately driving increased membership engagement. Approximately 30 members, including top-level management personnel from member organizations, joined the council meeting. This included all the panel convenors and co-convenors, who actively participated in the meeting.
Praveen Kumar Kalbavi, chairman, CII Mangaluru, Ajith Kamath, vice chairman – CII Mangaluru and Dr Rio D’Souza, principal, SJEC, Mangaluru were present in the meeting.
The second council meeting of CII Mangaluru held at St Joseph Engineering College provided an excellent platform for member organizations to actively engage and collaborate. By organizing meetings at member company premises, the council aimed to foster a stronger sense of involvement and participation in its activities. The meeting successfully achieved its objectives by facilitating productive discussions, sharing updates on upcoming events, and strengthening the relationships among council members.
