Beltangady: Investiture ceremony, clubs inauguration held at Holy Redeemer English Medium School

Beltangady, Jul 4: The investiture Ceremony of School Cabinet of Holy Redeemer English Medium School here was held on July 3. Investiture of School Cabinet Members and inauguration of various school clubs, sqauds and activities for the academic year was held in grandure. The program began by invoking God's blessings through a prayer dance and lighting the lamp.

Correspondent Fr Walter D'Mello presided over the programme and motivated the all school leaders to carry out their responsibilities faithfully. Chief guest Fr Anil Avild Lobo, parish priest of St Francis Assisi Church, Nainad, inaugurated the school clubs, squads and activities innovatively.

Headmaster Fr Clifford Pinto administered the oath to the members of School Cabinet. The aims and objectives of the clubs namely English Club, Kannada Club, Hindi Club, Eco Club and Science Club, and school squads namely, Blue Bunnies, Green Teens, Red Robins and Yellow Bees, were very symbolically represented by the respective leaders.

School Cabinet members and other leaders were honoured with badges and sashes. Trainers of school activities like Dance, Karate, Music, Singing and Art and Craft were felicitated.

Students Sonia Bennis of Class 7 welcomed the gathering and Safeeda of Class 9 proposed a vote of thanks. Teacher Renita Lasrado compered the programme.
