Udupi: Mount Rosary English Medium School holds PTA meeting

Udupi, Jul 3: The parent teachers association (PTA) meeting of Mount Rosary English Medium School, Santhekatte was held on June 7.

Fr Cyril Lobo, director of Divya Jyothi, diocese of Udupi was the resource person. Addressing the parents he said, “Being a parent is God’s gift. Thinking about financial condition, we limit ourselves to two children, but without any limit we give things to them. They spend more time with toys and phone. But what they require is time. Only when parents spend time with their children, they can develop values within themselves.”

Correspondent Fr Dr Rock D’Souza in his introductory note said, “Our institution always gives importance to discipline, quality education and cleanliness. Consecutively for six years, our institution managed to secure 100% result in the tenth board exam. In Brahmavar taluk, our institution is in top position.”

Students Karthikeya, Navya, Bharath, Adithya and Medini submitted the annual report of 2022-23 in the meeting.

The new committee for academic year 2023-24 was also formed.

PTA president Dr Keerthi and vice president Conrad Crasto were felicitated for their hard work and support during silver Jubilee celebration.

Vanitha Fernandez, secretary of association introduced new principal Sr Ancilla D’Mello to the parents in the meeting.

Teacher Alwyn Danthi gave the vote of thanks.
