Mangaluru: SJEC successfully inaugurates ‘Udyam Saathi’ entrepreneurial launch-pad

Mangaluru, Jul 3: Udyam Saathi, an entrepreneurial launch-pad was successfully inaugurated at St Joseph Engineering College, Vamanjoor, on July 1.

The initiative, in association with Rachana Catholic Chamber of Commerce & Industry, is aimed to nurture the next generation of catholic entrepreneurs from Mangaluru and Udupi dioceses. An orientation programme for all registered participants of this initiative was conducted on in the Spoorthi Hall at St Joseph Engineering College.

The initiative was inaugurated in the presence of Vincent Cutinha, president of RACHANA, Fr Wilfred Prakash D'Souza, director, SJEC, Dr Rio D'Souza, principal, Fr Kenneth Crasta, assistant director, Jeevan Saldanha, CEO -Spectrum Industries, Louis J Pinto, convenor, RACHANA EDC and Charles Pais, governing body member, RACHANA. Dr Prakash Pinto, dean-MBA, Rakesh Lobo, HR manager, SJEC, Dr Binu K G, convener of the event were also present.

The inaugural programme was followed by the orientation sessions by Roy Castelino and Dr Madhukar S M and concluded by panel interaction with the registered participants.
