Mangaluru, Jun 28: The Ladyhill Victoria High School organized investiture ceremony in the school auditorium with great enthusiasm.
It was an occasion where the young students were all prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted to them by the school.
The school cabinet leaders marched forward to the dais with the dignitaries accompanied by the school band.
The programme commenced with a prayer song invoking god’s blessing. Sr Ujwala A C, headmistress of Ladyhill Victoria High School, introduced the chief guest Sr Marie Prem D’Souza A C, coordinator of CBSE Carmel School who was also professor of Zoology and principal of St Agnes College.
The headmistress Sr Ujwala A C administered the oath to the newly elected school head girl and the members of the council who swore to serve their alma mater with utmost sincerity and best of their abilities.
The chief guest and the joint secretary honored the school head girl and the members of the school council with sash and badges and congratulated the newly inducted cabinet council members.
Sr Marie Prem A C, in her address, urged the students to take up responsibility, lend a helping hand and make others happy. She said, “Success is determined by what we think every second, every minute, every hour of the day.” She explained how to adapt to challenges through stories and also emphasized to have a vision for future and be focused.
The programme concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by school head girl Sachi Pandit. Smrithi V and Suhani compered the programme.
