Mangalore: CM has No Moral Right to Continue in Post: Ramanath Rai

"Chief minister Yeddyurappa who has been facing allegations of influencing the Lokayukta and phone tapping has lost moral right to continue in post. He should resign immediately," stressed DK district Congress president and MLA B Ramanath Rai.
 
He was speaking at a protest organised by district Congress committee to demand dissolution of the state government and resignation of Yeddyurappa.

He added that only the shameless in BJP party are supporting the CM’s continuation. "Yeddyurappa has been telling that the state treasury is rich enough to present a good budget, but he is treating it is not as the treasury of the government, but as his personal asset. The Rs 17 crore announced for the road development works during World Tulu Convention in 2009 has still not been released."
 
Energy minister Shobha Karandlaje got estates worth Rs 175 crore in just two years. Rai demanded to disclose her source of income.
 
He said if at all names of Congress leaders are mentioned in the Lokayukta report, they will not be spared from punishment.
 
Abhayachandra Jain, former MLA Vijaykumar Shetty, KPCC secretary Ivan D’Souza, Ibrahim Kodijal, leaders Mamatha Gatty, Shashidhar Hegde, Lancelot Pinto, Sadashiva Ullal, Appi, Kripa Alva, T K Sudhir, former MP Vinay Kumar Sorake, Bhasker Moily, Mamatha Shenoy, M S Mohammed, Nagendra Kumar, corporator Naveen D’Souza, Pravin Chandra Alva, Abbas Ali, Mohammed Badruddin among others were present.

    Come on, Yeddy doesn't care about right, wrong, moral or ethics. He just wants power and money. He has blessings from all the Gods, temples and pujaris. So he does not care for anything. He will go anywhere and do anything to stay in power.
