Mangaluru: Leadership Training Session held at St Agnes PU College

Media Release

Mangaluru, Jun 26: Albert Einstein once said, “A leader is one who out of clutter, brings out simplicity, out of discord, harmony and out of difficulty, opportunity.” Being a leader is not easy as it requires tremendous courage, vision, hard work and willingness to take risks.

St Agnes PU College conducted a session on leadership for the newly elected student cabinet members, class representatives of I and II PUC and their assistants on June 24. The purpose of the workshop was to tap into their latent potential, and bring it to the fore while also streamlining it. The cabinet members were inspired and girded by a sense of purpose to set forth and draw a blue print for the new academic year 2023-24.

Fr Felix Victor, a dynamic trainer was the resource person for the day. He spoke on the traits of a good leader and how these qualities can be learned and implemented. Through this interactive session, he exhorted them to establish clear communication with their peers and emphasized the need for honesty and integrity. He also said that the ability to think on their feet and face challenges head on, staying focused were all indicators of a good leader.

Sr Janet Sequeira, the vice principal welcomed the resource person. Prival D’Souza, the college president proposed a vote of thanks.
