Beltangady, Jun 24: “Students have to develop good citizenship and develop creativity,” said Santhosh Saldanha, principal, SDM College of Teacher Education, Ujire.
He was addressing the inauguration of the student council of Anugraha PU College Ujire. The programme was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the correspondent Fr James D'Souza. The correspondent in his message congratulated the office bearers of the student council and told them to be role models for others.
The principal of the college Fr Vijay Lobo administrated the oath to the newly elected office bearers of the student council.
The president of the student council Samson D’Souza welcomed the gathering and the secretary of the student council Mariya Mol E S proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was compered by Alan Abraham Pinto.
