'M'luru: Tech Yuva - 23' inaugurated at Institute of Engineering and Technology, Srinivas University

Mangaluru, Jun 23: The inaugural programme of the two-day national-level technical, cultural and sports festival 'Tech Yuva - 23' was held on June 22 at the Institute of Engineering and Technology, Srinivas University, Mukka.

Chief guest of programme, Texas Instruments and Kilby Lab, USA, member of its technical department and chief operating officer of Karnataka Micro Electronic Design Pvt Ltd Ratnakar S Bhat said, "Every student should get practical training. Such education is available at Srinivas College. Every student should get this kind of education for their own development."

Pro-chancellor of Srinivas University and A Shamrao Foundation vice president Dr A Srinivas Rao said that competition has meaning for education only when it is healthy. He said that if the youth make it a habit to learn technologically along with innovation, they can definitely get a better life in the future.

Registrar of Srinivas University Dr Anil Kumar, development registrar Dr Ajay Kumar, head of the digitization department of Srinivas University Dr Sushma Kesari, Srinivas University Institute of Engineering and Technology associate dean Netravati P S, the organizer of the Tech Youth programme Prof K Srinath Rao, Tech Youth-23 student coordinator Roshan Rakesh Nair and Vaishnavi Shanai were present on the stage.

Srinivas University Institute of Engineering and Technology dean Dr Thomas Pinto welcomed the gathering, and Prof Shweta Pai delivered the vote of thanks. Student Kumari Sreeja Shetty compered the programme.

College students, lecturers and contestants from various engineering colleges were present in the programme. Around 1,400 engineering students are participating in various competitions of the two-day Tech Yuva 23 programme.
