BJP Vice-president Shanta Kumar Recommends Yeddyurappa's Ouster to Save Party Image

Daijiworld Media Network - Bangalore

Bangalore, Jul 23: Chief minister B S Yeddyurappa is under fire from all quarters, including his own party, which is divided over what action to take against him. BJP vice-president Shanta Kumar has reportedly written to party president Nitin Gadkari and senior leader L K Advani recommending Yeddyurappa's ouster.

Kumar reasoned that he was concerned about the image of the party and that Congress may use the issue against BJP during the forthcoming monsoon session in the Parliament.

However, what may work in Yeddyurappa's favour is the fact that the report does not have any direct evidence against him, and that back in 2008, Dharam Singh who too was named in the Lokayukta report had been dropped from the report on behest of the then-governor Rameshwar Thakur.

Nevertheless, demands for the CM's resignation have been emanating from state oppostion parties JD(S) and Congress. But now, rivals in his own BJP are reportedly gearing up to seek his removal from the post as soon as the Lokayukta report on illegal mining is submitted.

The anti-Yeddyurappa group has been huddling together off late to discuss their future course of action. The RSS too had reportedly held a meeting on Friday July 22.

They have decided to go to Delhi to pressurize the party high command to change the leadership, soon after the report is tabled.

The rivals argue that the party’s reputation is at stake. While the high command had been maintaining that it would take action against Yeddyurappa, the rivals insist that with the Lokayukta report indicting him, the party has no choice but to act against him.

The BJP high command has reportedly directed all its leaders not to comment on Lokayukta Santhosh Hegde, at least till his term ends early next month, so as to avoid further trouble.

    Dear S(h)anta,
Unfortunately, Yeddyurappa gives away goodies to your party president. The president obligingly praises the exemplary performance of Yeddyurappa in Bangalore during each visit, collects the goodies, booty and goes to Nagpur to deposit them before leaving to Delhi. The president will therefore only listen to the Santa who gives goodies (Yeddyurappa) than the S(h)anta who does not give him any goodies ...

How long will it take for Yeddi and his sons be in Jail. Or will it be decided by the Siddaganga Mutt?
Considering the 1000’s of crores they have looted, will the Supreme Court act on such a crime on the country, poor and society and a while?
Or will politics ensure they will retire quietly from public life and enjoy the massive riches?

BTW, why is no one taking about arresting the crooked CM on his arrival from the tax heaven called Mauritius?

It smaks bad test when you go through the Head Kines of the News, Instead why the Head Lines are -"He should go when it is alleged that he is dip in corruption". This positive stand taken by the media would generate Public Opinion on the Positive Side of the Enterprise.

Yeddy's mentors and Bosses would then have to think in those lines. Instead what is being done by the Media they would call for a debate as if they are the court- It is simply worst possible way of marginalising the issue of corruption. These Medias are thinking that they are voicing against corruption, not at all they are also for Corruption and for that making leeway so that these corrupt people and their associates find ways and means to remain in Power and continue their mission uninterruptedly.

Please should you all be interested to wipe out corruption- then be positive-generate public opinion that they shaould go. Not this round about way to be ,Without Prejudice- to remain in the good book of these anti social elements. Thanks.
