Mangaluru, Jun 22: The student cabinet and NSS inaugural of Rosa Mystica PU College for the current Academic Year was held on June 21 in the college auditorium. The college was privileged to have Charles Pais retired professor and NSS programme officer at St Agnes's college mangaluru, as a chief guest and Vinaya Karanth PTA vice president, correspondent of Rosamystica Institution Sr Gracy Monica BS and principal of the college Sr Sadhana BS were present on the occasion. The event began with a formal march of the new council members led by Nafeesathul Misriya and Sumiksha. The students led the gathering into an opening chorus and prayer service. The programme started with an inaugural dance and song.
The chief guest was introduced and welcomed by the principal Sr Sadhana BS. Oath taking ceremony was administered by the principal and badges and sash were given to each of the cabinet members by the institution correspondent Sr Gracy Monica BS. The chief guest, Charles Pais, along with the guest Vinaya Karanth, the programme president, Sr Gracy Monica, and the principal Sr Sadhana BS, Nafeesathul Misriya, and Sumiksha illuminated the light of leadership by lightning the lamp. The student cabinet was inaugurated by our institution, Correspondent Sr Gracy Monica, by opening pingara. Along with cabinet inauguration, the NSS club was also inaugurated with the NSS theme chart by the chief guest, and the NSS flag was handed over to NSS unit leaders Thapaswini and Jithesh by Sr Sadhana BS.
Charles Pais, chief guest of the programme, congratulated the newly elected members and highlighted the importance of leadership qualities, and advised them to discharge their responsibilities in various fields.
Vinaya Karanth, PTA vice-president stimulated the students by his inspiring words. Sr. Gracy Monica, in her presidential address, informed that the students should have gratitude towards what they receive in life.
The ceremony was hosted by Avil Renil D'silva NSS coordinator and concluded with a vote of thanks by Nafeesathul Misriya. The programme ended by singing the National anthem.
