Mangaluru: Cabinet inaugural held at St Ann's PU College

Mangaluru, Jun 21: St Ann's PU college celebrated its investiture ceremony for the year 2003-24 on 21st June 2023 in the college auditorium. Sr Smitha AC, the joint secretary of St Ann's Institution and the superior of St Ann’s convent was the chief guest. The programme began with the lamp lighting ceremony by the chief guest Sr Smitha AC, principal Sr Marilda AC, vice principal Anil Noronha, cabinet in charge Reshma, CSL (girl) Andrea Nornha and CSL (Boy) Mohammad Khalander Nazaf.

Students of II PUC conducted the Prayer service which was followed by a welcome dance.

 

Principal, Sr Marilda AC introduced the chief guest and welcomed her with flowers. She then administered the oath of allegiance to the board of Student council: CSL-Andrea Rachael Noronha, and Mohammad Khalander Nazaf, Arts secretary- Swathi, commerce Secretary-Saniya, science Secretary-Poornima J S, student Editor -Reshma, Minster of Discipline - Bibi Fazima Haque Chilmi and Fathima Nidha, Minister for sports -Anil and Sinchana, Minister for cleanliness - Sneha Rose Mary K. and Shanthi Pragathi, Minister for cultural Activities- Aysha Alisha, and Amanda Jane A P.

They declared their portfolio and swore to serve their Alma mater with utmost sincerity and to the best of their abilities. After the investiture Ceremony "the silver Jubilee Edition of the college Magazine ‘Annthea’ ” was released by the chief guest.

The chief guest in her address spoke about leadership and congratulated the newly nominated leaders. She also appreciated the staff and the students for their academic excellence.

Finally the programme concluded with the National anthem. The programme was compered by Rimsha and Bahim, and the vote of thanks was proposed by Evident.
