Mangaluru, Jun 15: The result of Common Entrance Test-2023 (CET) conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) were declared on Thursday June 15.
Higher education minister Dr M C Sudhakar announced the CET result at the KEA office in Malleswaram, Bengaluru. This time, girls have prevailed in all sections of CET.
Byresh S H, a student of Expert Pre-University College has secured first rank (96.7%) in BSc Agriculture. He has also bagged the second rank (98.1%) in Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, fourth rank (96.667%) in B-Pharma and Pharma-D, fourth rank (96.667%) in veterinary science, fourth rank in BSc nursing and 16th rank in engineering.
It may be recalled, earlier, Byresh had also bagged the 48th rank in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2023, the results of which were announced on June 13 by the National Testing Agency. He had scored 710 marks out of 720 in the NEET exam and has achieved 48th rank in the country.
Addressing the media, Byresh said, “When I received the answer key, I knew I would score within the 10th rank. With my efforts and support of parents and teachers, I have secured first rank in BSc Agriculture.”
Ushaprabha N Nayak said, “Students of Expert are never behind in ranks. All of them want to join the best colleges and achieve their goals.”
Expert College chairman Prof Narendra L Nayak, vice chairperson of Expert Group of Institutions Ushaprabha N Nayak, principal Expert PU College Kodialbail Prof Ramachandra Bhat, principal Valachil campus Dr N K Vijayan, and director IT Expert Group of Institutions Ankush Nayak were present.
