Kaup: Power of Destiny - Couple Die of Natural Death on Same Day

Kaup, Jul 17: After exactly six hours of his life partner’s death, a man residing in Moodu Irandhadi of Kuthyar village here died of natural death on Friday July 15.

The couple who met each other through death are Oovayya Poojary (73) and Netravati Poojarthi(68), who were earning their daily bread through agricultural activities.

Netravati passed away on Friday at 3.00 pm and the family members were preparing for her last rites. Unable to bear the shock of his wife’s death Oovayya Poojary too breathed his last at 9.00 pm. The couple are survived by three daughters and a son.

Later the last rites of the couple were performed together at Shirva in presence of all the family members.

    Indeed, this is true love. May their souls rest in peace.I'm almost certain that their's was an arranged marriage. Yet there was so much love in these marriages. Nowadays, most marriages are love marriages, but after a few years, god only knows where the love disappears from the marriage. Even the marriage ends up in a divorce in some cases. I just wish that all couples love their partners so much.

    Such an incident is exceedingly rare. But it did happen to my Great Grand parents on my father's side (Late Mr Casimir Britto) mother . Mr Joseph Nazareth and Mrs Inca Nazareth (Both blind)
    attained Eternal Bliss on the same day in Belman ( Karkala) Belman

    They belong to the St.Josph's Church in Belman which was established in 1894 and were one of the earliest of 'San Zuzechi Igurz, Belman'

    Honestly, these couples "Made for each other". It looks good to the outside world, when couples looks "real couples" like not one bossing other or one dominating other. God bless them in death.
