Udupi, May 23: The inauguration of the new school building of Kadiyali English Medium School was held on May 22, Monday evening in the school premises. The president of Shri Sode Vadiraja Mutt Education Trust, Shri Vishwavallabha Theertha Swamiji inaugurated the new building.
The Kadiyali primary school, a historic and esteemed institution in Udupi with a legacy spanning 147 years, has been entrusted to the capable administration of the Shri Sode Vadiraja Mutt Education Trust since 2018. In view of the overall development of the institution, Poojya Swamiji has built a new building having state-of-art facilities with the help of the donors.
K Annamalai, former IPS officer and president of the state BJP unit of Tamil Nadu, was the chief guest of the inaugural ceremony. K Annamalai in his address, briefed the importance of education and spirituality. He also appreciated Swamiji for taking initiatives for the overall development of the school.
The district governor of Rotary Club, Dr Jayagowri Hadigal has appreciated the authorities of the Sode Matha for developing good infrastructure for the school. Vadiraj A, general manager of Karnataka Bank, has assured all financial support for the societal activities of the Sode Matha through CSR initiatives. One more guest Balaji Raghavendra Acharya in his address, has stressed the importance of value education along with modern education.
President of the inaugural ceremony Shri Vishwavallabha Theertha Swamiji, in his presidential remarks, briefed the importance of education and samskara. Swamiji has remembered the hard work of the founders of the school and thanked donors of the building for their support.
The Swamiji has honored Nirmala on behalf of K Krishnananda Kini, the managing director of Ultra Filter India Pvt Ltd Bengaluru, Dr Jayagowri Hadigal, district governor of Rotary Club, Harinathan on behalf of Lakshmikanthan, BHIMA Jewellers, Vadiraj A, general manager of Karnataka Bank and other donors of the building.
Rathnakumar, secretary of Shri Sode Vadiraja Mutt welcomed the gathering. Saritha Krishna and Ranjani Samaga rendered an invocation. Prabhavathi Adiga proposed the vote of thanks. Dr C K Manjunath and Sachin Prabhu compered the programme.
