Mangaluru: St Agnes College (Autonomous) holds valedictory programme

Mangaluru, May 16: The valedictory programme of the year of St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru was held on May 13, at the Mother Mary Aloysia Centenary Auditorium. The final year students of the post graduate and undergraduate classes were ushered in ceremoniously, led by the college band, principal, deans, registrar .

The theme of the programme was 'Change takes Courage'. The programme included a prayer song, welcome dance, group dance and a farewell song, all of which emphasized the need to use their learning and skills for the benefit of humanity and to be responsible for the success of a major change, where courage is essential. The highlight of the programme was the principal-Sr Venissa's message where she urged the students to adhere to the principles inculcated by them in the college. She prayed for their wellbeing and wished for them a fruitful future. She ended by emphasizing the need to give to society and quoted from the scriptures to convey the same.

The student presidents of the under graduate programme and post graduate programme Adeline and Mahima and vice presidents of undergraduate programmes respectively, spoke on the occasion and expressed their sentiments of nostalgia and gratefulness for their growth and joyful experiences in the college.

The programme was organized by the department of Political Science, along with the department of BBA. Privy of I BA compered the programme.
