Bantwal, May 9: The election mustering work for the Bantwal assembly constituency 205 was conducted at Infant Jesus English and Kannada Medium School in Modankap on Tuesday.

The Bantwal constituency has a total of 249 polling booths, with four officers, one group D staff member, and police personnel assigned to each booth. Additional officers were deployed at booths with more than 1,200 voters. The mustering work was carried out by 25 sector officers, along with a team of 1,572 personnel, 25 buses, 26 maxi cabs, 22 mini buses, and 20 jeeps, which proceeded to the polling booths. Food arrangements were made for the personnel. Additional DC Krishnamurthy visited the mustering center to oversee the work, accompanied by election officers and various officials responsible for election-related tasks.

A total of 156 booths have been selected for webcasting, with suitable security arrangements in place. Additional assistance will be provided to elderly and differently abled voters. The elections are scheduled to be held from 7 am to 6 pm.
