Udupi, May 7: Kuyiladi Suresh Nayak, the district president of BJP, made a daring statement, saying, "If the Congress party comes to power and fulfills all the guarantees they have announced in their manifesto, I will shave my head on May 7, 2028, in front of the KPCC office in Bengaluru."

Addressing media persons at the BJP media center, Nayak expressed his views on the guarantee cards being distributed by the Congress.

He said, "Congress is deceiving people by distributing guarantee cards to every household. They claim that if the guarantee card is signed by D K Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah and deposited in the bank, people will receive money. However, Congress will not come to power in Karnataka. But if by chance they do and manage to fulfill all their promises, I will fulfill my promise to shave my head."

Nayak also criticised the desperation of the Congress party, stating, "This is the state of Congress in our country. They are resorting to such tactics of deceiving people through guarantee cards. Personally, I would have burned those cards like Eshwarappa did. However, I have decided against it. People should not be cheated in this manner."
