Mangaluru: St Agnes Colleges holds one day workshop on ‘Mastering essential Life Skills'

Mangaluru, May 4: A day's Workshop on ‘Mastering essential Life Skills: A tool for success and fulfilment’ for the students of I BBA of St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru was organised by the Department of Business Administration on May 3. The chief guest Dr Preethi Keerthi Dsouza, associate professor, department of Commerce, Mangalore University and guest of honour Sr M Carmel Rita AC, the administrator, St Agnes College inaugurated the workshop.

During this workshop Dr Preethi Keerthi Dsouza was felicitated for receiving ‘The Top Influencer in Organisational Development Award’ from Transformational Change & Development Forum Zimbabwe in March. The guest of honour Sr M Carmel Rita AC addressed the students about the opportunities available and how to utilize it for building successful career. The first session was on Communication Skills and Team Building by Dr Preethi Keerthi Dsouza. The session was very interactive with activities on Team building and other relevant skills required when working in an organisation.

The resource person for the topic ‘Goal Setting and Facing an Interview’ was Manoj Louis, assistant professor of Commerce, Government First Grade College Kavoor. He gave more details about how to set a goal in life and how to face the interview and the required attitude while going for an interview.

The programme was compered by Niyanth of I BBA, the guests were welcomed by Melson Dsouza, assistant professor, department of Business Administration and vote of thanks was proposed by Ivy of I BBA.
