Mangaluru, May 3: J R lobo. Congress Party candidate for Mangaluru South visited the Global vegetable and fruits market at Kallapu to seek votes from traders and workers on Wednesday, May 3.

The market serves people from Bengre, Bunder, Kudroli, Bajal, Jeppinamogaru and other areas of Mangaluru.

Lobo, the Congress candidate, spoke to news reporters and expressed his concerns about the administration's decision to demolish the central market building without prior notice or providing alternative arrangements for the shopkeepers. He highlighted the distress faced by traders and workers due to this sudden action. Lobo assured voters that the Congress Party will never be unjust like the BJP administration and always stands with the poor.

He also mentioned that Congress activists have delivered their guarantee cards to houses and expressed confidence in the party's victory in the upcoming state elections. Many other Congress leaders, including Manjeshwar MLA V K M Ashraf, former MLC Ivan D’ Souza, Hameed Kannur, Rafik Kannur, Arif Bava, Hussain Kannur, Abdul Khader, I Monu, Munna Kundala, Ashraf Kannur, as well as traders Hameed D A and Aboobacker C R were present at the event.
