Sullia, May 3: Two persons were injured after a car that was Aaletti bound from Sullia fell into a ditch after the driver lost control of the vehicle in Nagapattana on Monday, May 1.
A large ditch had been dug up at the Nagapattana turning and the protecting wall to warn motorists was short which went unnoticed while the driver was negotiating the turning.
The injured were immediately rushed by a group of local youths to KVJ Hospital in Sullia for treatment.
The injured have been identified as a brother and sister who hailed from Madikeri. They were on a visit to a home near Mithadka Rotary School to attend a programme, it is learnt.
The car got mangled in the accident.
